Kanna Japanese Hand Plane Workshop, Saturday, July 20

$550.00

In this one-day workshop students will learn how to set up, fine tune and use their own 54 mm kanna or hand plane. Students will also receive one-on-one instruction, demonstrations, and opportunities to sharpen and practice with their new tool and build confidence. This is a specialty course for intermediate to advanced woodworkers.

What is a kanna? A kanna is a traditional Japanese hand plane regarded for it’s ability to create a superior surface finish compared to western planes. Save on time and materials on finishing projects by learning how to use this unique specialty tool. Materials for the workshop are sourced directly from Japan.
